Proper Storage and Handling of Photographic Film

The photographic and physical properties of film can be adversely affected by high temperature and humidity. Exposing film to excessive heat or extreme temperatures may cause the ink to dissolve. To minimize these adverse effects, film should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place.

For long-term storage, it is best to keep film in a refrigerator at a temperature below 10°C (50°F). Before refrigerating, opened film packs should be placed into polyethylene or vinyl bags. After removing film from a refrigerator, it should be allowed to reach room temperature (at least 12 hours) before opening, as sudden temperature changes may result in condensation that can damage the film.

Avoid storing film in a freezer, as this is not recommended.

Ideal Temperature for Film Use

Quick, instant developing is possible when working with film at temperatures between 5-40°C (41-104°F). After loading film into a camera, it is best to expose it as soon as possible.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Film

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 film is compatible with all Instax Mini cameras, including the Instax Mini 9, Instax Mini 90, Instax Mini 70, Instax Mini 50S, Instax Mini 25, Instax Mini Hello Kitty, and the Polaroid Pic 300 instant film cameras.

This instant film offers stunning, credit-card sized (5.4 x 8.6 cm) photographs that can be easily carried in a purse or wallet. The classic white frame can be left blank or personalized with fun messages.

Instax Mini 8 film is high-speed ISO 800 with superb grain quality, ensuring vibrant color and natural skin tones. The images develop instantly, allowing you to capture and enjoy the moment right away.

Each pack of Instax Mini 8 film contains 20 exposures, though it's never enough for avid photographers.
